2.1: "The
Hound"
Reno travels to Val's grave on the first anniversary
of her death, but Lt. Dixon (Steven J. Cannell) sets a trap for Reno and
almost catches him. While Reno attempts to escape Lt. Dixon, the brother
of Val's killer, "Hound" Adams (Geoffrey Blake), offers Reno and Bobby
hard evidence of Reno's innocence.
2.2: "The
Champ"
"The Champ", a boxer named Marvin (Tiny Lister)
convicted of vehicular manslaughter, escapes from jail. So Reno must track
down "the Champ", with "the Champ's" social worker (B.J. Jefferson), public
opinion and "the Champ's" sheer size all working against him.
2.3: "White
Picket Fences"
Reno tries to protect a young woman who witnessed
a murder. Kim: Yvonne Suhor. Reverend McClain: Ron Ely. Poe: Don Swayze.
Henry: Rob Youngblood.
2.4: "Dead
End And Easy Money"
Reno, Bobby and Cheyenne team up with a Machiavellian
bounty hunter (Cyndi Pass) who will do anything to catch her prey--even
turn Reno over to the police.
2.5: "No
Good Deed..."
Reno and Bobby go after "the Closer" a robber
who robs late-night restaurants and stores and kills any witnesses. But
when Reno witness "the Closer" in the act, he has to make a deal to free
Bobby from jail and maybe to clear himself of the charges against him.
2.6: "The
Rabbit And The Fox"
Cheyenne is hired to track down mob wife and
accused murder, Lisa Bendetti (Paula Trickey), who has become a national
cult figure. At first Bobby opposes, but when he realizes the potential
publicity, he approves. So, Reno has to subdue the captured Lisa, whom
he ends up falling for and trying to clear of the charges against her.
2.7: "Endless
Summer"
Reno is called into to bring in a band of surfers
who are supplementing their income by robbing the money houses of a drug
cartel. But Reno soon discovers from the ringleader's sister that his daredevil
antics are a result of his terminal illness.
2.8: "Bonnie
& Claire"
Reno is called into to transport a con artist
named Bonnie (Mary Ellen Stuart) to trial. She soon proves to be big trouble,
but when Reno agrees to take Bonnie back to see her daughter before going
to jail, Bonnie's partner and sister Claire (Claire Yarlett) frees her
from Reno. So Reno, Bobby and Chey have to pursue them.
2.9: "Wheel
Man"
(NOTE: Also known as "Wheel Men Don't Eat
Quiche".)
Reno pretends to be a race car driver to
determine if the owner (John Beck), his daughter (Jennifer Guthrie) or
their original driver (Sam Jones) are in any way involved with some bank
robbers.
2.10: "Windy
City Blues"
When a killer (Don Stroud) who Reno's cop father
(Charles Napier) put away escapes from jail, Reno feels he has to go to
Chicago to keep an eye on his father. But when Reno gets there, he finds
his father is about to retire and intends to kill the murderer, doubts
Reno's innocence and is drinking heavily. Meanwhile, Lt. Dixon (Steven
J. Cannell), on a hunch, also goes to Chicago in search of Reno.
2.11: "Honor
Bound"
A retired Marine sergeant (Charles Cypher)
hires former marine Bobby to investigate the disappearance of his daughter
who appears to have fallen into prostitution. Voight: Michael Harris. Judge
Hollister: Michael Durrell.
2.12: "Hard
Rider"
Bobby is hired by his old friend, casino owner
John Daulton (Wayne Newton) after his daughter is kidnapped by two ruthless
Aussies (Alistair MacDougal, Kylie Travis). Meanwhile, on his way to the
job, Reno saves the life of one biker (Jan-Michael Vincent), but he later
has his bike stolen by another (Tom Allard), which endangers the ransom
delivery.
2.13: "Charlie"
A street smart 6-year-old (Brittany Alyce Smith)
is left in Reno's care after her con-artist father unwittingly becomes
involved in a "money-laundering" operation. Tracy: John Calvin.
2.14: "South
of '98"
Reno returns to the inner-city neighborhood
where he served as a rookie cop to capture a gang member who's wanted for
murder.
2.15: "Hostage"
The gang tracks down the "Hound" (Geoffrey
Blake) at a bar. So Reno goes to the bar to bring the Hound in to clear
his name. But robbers burst in, and when their robbery goes bad they take
everyone hostage, including Reno and the Hound. The burglars use Reno as
the hostage spokesman drawing the attention of Lt. Dixon (Steven J. Cannell),
and Bobby and Chey.
2.16: "Rabbit
Redux"
Bobby orders Reno on vacation, and he sends
him up to his cabin, where Lisa Bendetti (Paula Trickey) just happens to
be waiting. As the two begin to relax their calm is interrupted by a near-by,
mobile drug lab run by a tough-as-nails drug dealer (Jamie Rose(?), Lamas'
co-star on Falcon Crest). Reno must bring them in.
2.17: "The
Posse"
Reno and Bobby try to prevent a posse from
carrying out their own brand of justice on a man suspected of murdering
the sheriff's wife. Quinn: Ben Reed.
2.18: "Once
Burned, Twice Chey"
Cheyenne steps in to help her former teacher
(Chip Mayer) prove his innocence after he's accused of murdering his socialite
wife. But things are complicated when she falls for him, and Bobby's convinced
the guy's not on the level.
2.19: "Sheriff
Reno"
Reno is stopped in a small town by the local
sheriff and deputy, and the sheriff is immediately shot and killed by two
murderous brothers. So Reno must help out the jealous deputy (John Allsop)
find his courage, prevent one brother from breaking the other out of jail
and prevent the town's people from lynching the sheriff's killer.
2.20: "Murderer's
Row: Part One"
When a woman (Elizabeth Gracen) escapes from
a millionaire computer designer (Mitchell Ryan), his assistant (Larry Manetti)
goes around to hire the six best bounty hunters to bring her back, including
Bobby and Reno, and a mentally deranged man named Woolsey (Lindsey Ginter).
The offer: one million dollars to the person or persons that bring her
back.
2.21: "Murderer's
Row: Part Two"
Reno helps Rikki (Elizabeth Gracen) escape
from Woodley, but he needs to get the full story about Bronson (Mitchell
Ryan) before he can really help her. Meanwhile Woolsey and Zane (Robert
LaSardo) are chasing them the whole way back from Mexico.
2.22: "Carrick
O'Quinn"
After blinding a judge (Cecelia Peck)
in an attempt to foil a robbery, cop Carrick O'Quinn (Don Michael Paul)
quits his special forces unit to become a quasi-P.I., to help people out,
like those that ask for help from his brother, a priest (Jay Avocone).
He crosses paths with Reno because Reno knows the judge whom O'Quinn blinds,
and the two team up to solve a case. A strange episode; perhaps the pilot
to a failed spin-off attempt.
