4.1: "Sawed-Off Shootgun Wedding"

Reno gets involved in trying to bring a diplomat (Diego Wallraff) down for drug dealing, meeting another diplomat (Jacqueline Obradors) along the way who makes Reno an interesting offer that might solve all his problems. Meanwhile, Dutch Dixon (Steven J. Cannell) eliminates the competition (Robert Pine) and is promoted to federal marshal, meaning he can now use federal resources to try and nab Reno. 4.2: "Honeymoon in Mexico"

Reno and Bobby's Mexico vacation is interrupted when they agree to help a young newlywed (Jessica Cushman) locate her missing husband; little do they know that neither she, nor the man (Jerry Doyle) the money was stolen from, can be trusted. "Mo" Moseley: Jerry Doyle. Nikki: Sandra Reinhardt.

4.3: "The Ballad of D.B. Cooper"

Bobby can't pass following up on a tip that D.B. Cooper is up in an Oregon Bobby town, but close behind his and Reno's trail is a violent bounty hunter (Sam Jones) who wants the collar for himself. Charlie Douglas: Max Gail. Tina Douglas: Elisa Donovan.

4.4: "Most Wanted"

Bobby is tapped as one of Bay City's "Most Wanted" bachelors, but he ends up falling for a woman (Stephanie Niznik) he hit chasing a bounty (Robert LaSardo), causing Reno, and later Cheyenne, to worry about him.

4.5: "Liar's Poker"

Reno and Bobby track an escaped female convict by the name of Julie Seaton (Marnie McPhail) to her hometown where Bobby gets the help of the local sheriff (Jeff Kaake) who new the con as a girl, while Reno stays on the con's tail.

4.6: "Dead Heat"

Reno tracks his bounty, "The Sandman", a man who kills thoroughbred horses fro profit, to a stable owned by a widow (Erin Gray) and run by an old timer by the name of Sam Crow (Robert Fuller) either of whom who may or may not be wise to the plot to kill horses for insurance money. Billie Crow: Julie St. Claire.

4.7: "Uncle in the Business"

Reno must come to the rescue of his friend Lisa (Courtney Peldon; from the season #3 episode "Hitman") to save her from a mobster who wants Lisa's father's "little black book", which lists all the hits her father committed. Nick Snyder: Mike Preston. Carla: Arnetia Walker.

4.8: "Offshore Thunder"

Reno comes to the aid of his deceased fiancee's sister Deb (Angie Harmon) who works on the crew of a cigarette racing boat that is owned by a wealth immigrant named Juan Carlos Prieto (Reni Santoni) and is beset by problems that may be sabotage.

4.9: "Studs"

When Bobby's former fiancee Liza (Nancy Lee Grahn) is blackmailed by a ring of gigilos, Reno must infultrate the organization and bring down its ring leader (Sarah Buxton).

4.10: "Another Place & Time"

An important episode: While Reno and Cheyenne have to pose as newlyweds to bust the murderous gangseter Tony Spano (John D'Aquino), Bobby's interference in their arrangement causes both Reno and Chey to face their feelings for one another.

4.11: "Sins of the Father"

Donnie Dixon (Steven Flynn; also in season #3 episode "The Late Shift"), (now Marshal) "Dutch" Dixon's son, is out of prison, and when he turns down money from Bobby for information on Reno's behalf, Reno and Bobby discover that Dutch's old crooked partner (William Lucking) has gotten to the son first, and intends to use Donnie to take Dutch (Stephen J. Cannell) down with Donnie's eager participation.

4.12: "No Place Like Home"

Bobby, Chey and Reno take on the job of escorting a paroled rapist (who claims his innocence) to his new home on a California town that doesn't want him. Indeed, when they arrive in town, it doesn't look like the convict (Christopher Rich) will last long, so Reno stays on, to protect the convict from the town and his parole officer (Holly Gagnier), and the town from the convict if he really is a rapist.

4.13: "Baby Makes Three"

A baby is mysteriously left on Bobby's doorstep, so Bobby and Reno care for the child while they track down the infant's mother (Megyn Price), who happens to be the girlfriend of a recnently paroled convict (Lindsey Lee Ginter) who has threatened to kill her.

4.14: "Hound Downtown"

Reno and Bobby, with the help of local "color" named Randy (Lisa Thames), track "Hound" Adams (Geoffrey Lewis) to New York where he is running a complicated scam, including one on his secretary (Victoria Morsell).

4.15: "Sationary Target"

After a motor cycle accident chasing a bounty, Reno is nursed back to health by an ambulence driver (Lisa Stahl). His problems? The bounty (Tim deZarn) intends to kill a judge (Nike Doukas), Dutch Dixon (Stephen J. Cannell) is hot on his trail, and Reno has amnesia. Meanwhile, Bobby searches for Reno with the help of one of his sleazy informants, Tony O'Malley (Terry Camilleri).

4.16: "Rio Reno"

While chasing a bounty, Reno mysteriously finds himself a bounty hunter in the Old West, up against a crooked federal marshal named Swede Mason (Stephen J. Cannell) who's ruining a town for his own finanacial gain, with the help of a loner (L.Q. Jones).

4.17: "Paradise Lost"

Reno hides out on a communal farm after a woman (Melora Hardin) rescues him form the local police, but Reno begins to suspect that the farm's leader (Scott Jaeck) is behind the bombing of a local county office building.

4.18: "Love Hurts"

Bobby's mother Amanda (Stella Stevens) and cousin Brittney (Brittney Powell) visit, but immediately strange events start happening at Bobby's house, leading to two conclusions: either an old bounty is out for revenge, or someone is stalking Amanda. Denny: Tom Sullivan.

4.19: "Hard Evidence"

Reluctantly, Bobby agrees to help a discharged Air Force man, Peter Flood (Steven Williams), who claims that evidence of a crash of an extraterrestrial ship exists at a shutdown military base, so Reno is sent to work for the demolishion crew on the base, headed by a woman (Ana-Alicia; another "Falcoln Crest" alum: Ana-Alicia played Llamas' wife on the show). Gen Byrd: Ron Ely.

4.20: "The Dollhouse"

Reno is kidnapped by a woman named Jody Whitley (Jamie Rose, Lamas' co-star from "Falcon Crest"; also in episode #2.16 "Rabbit Redux", as a different character) and her brother (Michael Cudlitz), who put Bobby in the hospital, and who want to force Reno to marry their sister (Heather Fairfield). With Bobby out of the way, only Nathan Wayne (L.Q. Jones) and Twink (Sunday Theodore) can save Reno.

4.21: "Hog Calls"

Reno tracks down Hound's tapes of Hog and Dixon to Phoenix to Hound's crooked lawyer, Joanna Muir (Claire Yarlett), and sets himself up as her bodyguard, which quickly embroils him in a matter concerning one of Muir's clients, drug dealer Ricardo Pena (Raoul Trujillo), and his girlfriend Ashley (Shauna Sand, Lamas's new real-life wife) who's been kidnapped.

4.22: "The Road Not Taken"

After capturing bounty Henry Travis (Johnny Cash), Reno is thrown in jail as well, prompting him to confide to Travis that he "wish he'd taken that bullet" instead of Val. He promptly gets his wish, and his treated to a view of the world in which he has been dead for 4 years.
